Microbiome

The human microbiome lives inside our gut and houses bacteria, fungi, viruses and other microbes. The microbiome contains good bacteria (disease fighting), and bad bacteria (if they multiply too quickly). The aim is to promote the good bacteria. The 2 main ways to achieve this is to eat foods containing pre and pro biotics. And to spend time in nature, exposing ourselves to good bacteria, not using harsh cleaning products that will strip our skin of healthy bacteria (we have good bacteria on our skin as well).

A Nutrition consultation will allow you to learn which foods to eat to promote a healthy microbiome, therefore protecting the body from disease.
