Mindfulness

There is a mountain of research to support the benefits of Mindfulness. One way to practise this technique is through Meditation. Regular meditation can help with stress by calming the nervous system and promoting parasympathetic activity. Relationships with others can improve through being more open to communication, less judgmental and more accepting of yourself and of those around you. It can lead to greater focus through creating stillness and clarity in the mind and getting rid of the internal chatter. It generates creativity by making space for new ideas to flourish. Theres also increasing evidence that meditation can assist with anxiety and addictions. I suggest starting with 10 minutes and using guided meditation if your new to it. The key is to do it regularly.
